Cognex announces the release of a new I/O Module for use with the In-Sight Micro vision system. This new I/O module provides 8 general purpose inputs and outputs, as well as Power over Ethernet, serial communications, and wiring terminals for the trigger and two high speed outputs.
The In-Sight Micro I/O module extends the capabilities of the In-Sight Micro vision systems, as well as reducing the number of system components needed. The module combines a PoE injector, eight discrete inputs and outputs, and Ethernet and serial communication ports in one low-cost device.
Cognex announces the availability of In-Sight Explorer Release 4.2. Key enhancements in this release include support for the new In-Sight Micro I/O module, job protection and licensing, EasyView setup for VisionView, and Modbus TCP support in EasyBuilder.
Cognex announces the availability of VisionView release 1.1 software. Key enhancements include complete CustomView interactivity that greatly facilitates operator parameter adjustments without a PC. This release also includes support for EasyView, a new operator interface created from within the EasyBuilder environment in In-Sight Explorer software.
Cognex is pleased to introduce a new stainless steel light. This compact, high output light is IP68 rated for wash-down environments. Use these lights in combination with the In-Sight 5000 Series stainless steel vision systems for any food industry ready package.
Smart Vision Lights has just released a wash-down version of their Prox Light®. This one 5 watt, high current LED light is housed in a small 316 stainless steel 30mm barrel sensor housing and was designed for use within the food industry. The light meets IP68 standards and is corrosion resistant.
The stainless steel Prox Light is available in a broad range of colors: white, red, amber, blue, green, cyan, ultraviolet, and infrared. Like all Smart Vision Lights, an integrated constant current driver with a built in strobe input with option for PNP or NPN trigger control (eliminating the need for an external driver to control the light) is included. The integrated driver also includes a variable light intensity control. Light can be controlled by an internal pot or a 0-10VDC analog signal.
