New camera models from Basler
Scout series
Basler has launched new camera models in the scout series. Series' new scA1600-28 models are a faster version of the previous scA1600-14 models. The new cameras deliver 28 frames per second at 2 megapixel resolution, and feature the Sony ICX274 CCD sensor in both monochrome and color. They are available with either a GigE or IEEE 1394b interface. The new scout models have an excellent image quality, and other important characteristics such as the noise level, DSNU, and PRNU are kept at low level.
Aviator series
Basler has also complemented its aviator series by starting series production of the new aviator area scan camera models. These new cost-effective cameras (starting price of 1590€) are available with GigE interface and feature 1, 2 and 4 megapixel resolutions in mono or color. The GigE interface offers reliable data transport at over 100 frames per second at 1 megapixel resolution (100 MB/s) over distances of up to 100 meters. Due to the new Kodak sensors the aviator series offers great image quality, even at high image capture rates.
