Basler launches new ace area scan camera series

Basler Vision Technologies launches a new series of ground-breaking industrial Gigabit Ethernet cameras at the VISION 2009 show in Stuttgart, Germany.
The Basler ace area scan camera series has a very small footprint of 29 mm x 29 mm, offers Power over Ethernet and high-performance features. It is very easy to integrate on the hardware and software side via the free Basler pylon software package.
The ace series will initially consist of four CCD camera models in monochrome and color, with resolutions from VGA to 2 megapixels and a standard C-Mount adapter. First models will be available end of Q1/2010.
